Message Regarding Deadlines Sent April 8, 2026
Hello!
The Arkansas Girls State Committee set deadlines for this year's session based on our timeline to meet requirements for an excellent 2026 program.
Unfortunately, we are unable to extend our deadlines; we unable to extend our deadlines; we hope that you understand our position as we work to complete tasks required to fund vendors, contract counselors, assign dorms, etc.
The American Legion Auxiliary is a non-profit organization, and the Arkansas Girls State Program is run entirely by volunteers; we operate within the constraints of others, thus our restrictive timeline.
We look forward to your school's participation in next year's program.

Official Notice: Delegate Fees Due May 1, 2026.
To all Schools and American Legion Auxiliary Units:
Thank you for your continued support of the American Legion Auxiliary Girls State program and for nominating outstanding young women to represent your school and communities. Your partnership and preparation make this experience possible for every delegate.
This is a formal reminder that all delegate fees for the 2026 session must be received in the American Legion Auxiliary Department office at 1415 West 7th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201, no later than May 1, 2026.
All payments must be received, not just postmarked, by May 1, 2026.
Any checks received after the May 1 deadline will be returned to the sender unprocessed, and the affected delegates will be unregistered from the 2026 session. No exceptions will be made. This deadline ensures accurate housing and counselor assignments, city rosters, and program materials for all participants.
Thank you again for your cooperation and timely attention to this requirement. Your commitment helps us provide a meaningful and well-organized experience for every delegate.
