Our Units & Districts
Making our communities better places to live is a core value that the American Legion Auxiliary members put into action every day.
The American Legion Auxiliary Department of Arkansas is comprised of local Units across the state and organized into 15 Districts.  Our District Presidents serve as vital links between the Department and local Units, helping members, volunteers, and communities connect with opportunities to serve veterans, military families, and their communities.
We encourage you to reach out to your District President or a local Unit to learn how you can become involved.  Auxiliary Units welcome volunteers and prospective members who are interested in supporting our mission through service projects, veteran outreach, youth programs, educational initiatives, and patriotic activities.
The Department of Arkansas also has American Legion Posts that do not currently have an Auxiliary Unit.  If you are interested in helping establish a new Unit in your community, please contact the Department President or Department Secretary for more information.
"Whether hosting community events for veterans, supporting military families, volunteering in schools, promoting patriotism, recruiting you women to attend Arkansas Girls State, distributing poppies in remembrance of those who served, or assisting veterans in need, American Legion Auxiliary members are continuously at work in their communities.  Through dedication, compassion, and service, our members demonstrate their committment to those who have defended our nation and protected our freedoms."
We invite you to join us in making a difference across Arkansas. One Community, one veteran, and one family at a time.
